Alicia started with Metro Volleyball Club in 2010. She is currently the JV coach at Reitz Memorial High School. She has also coached the freshman team at FJ Reitz High School. She has coached various ages for St. John's the Baptist Catholic School for the past four years. She also brings over 20 years of playing experience which is a tribute to her love of the game.
Deb has coached U12-14 age teams for Metro Volleyball club since 2009. She has coach all levels and abilities of teams. She was the director of the North Posey Youth Volleyball league, serving players from North Posey, Mt. Vernon and New Harmony since 2005. She coached various 5th and 6th grade teams also. She loves to teach girls all the basic fundamentals but more importantly she loves to teach young players how exciting and competitive this game can be.
Ashton has been with Metro Volleyball Club since 2009 and has coached, in some capacity, at every age group. He played throughout high school and continued at King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia as a setter. Ashton has assisted in running clinics and camps for schools around the area. He is dedicated to helping players reach their potential through hard work, structure, and passion for the sport.
Natalie has been coaching at Boonville High School since 2017 as the Varsity Head Coach. She has been with Metro Volleyball Club since 2011 and has coached at the U14 and U17 levels. She also coached North Posey's 8th grade team for two years. Natalie played throughout high school, in an array of positions, and focused more as a defensive specialist while playing at Rend Lake and University of Missouri-Saint Louis (UMSL) in college. She is incredibly passionate about the sport and loves to pass on knowledge that she's gained through her years of playing.
Tyler is currently the Varsity Assistant at Barr-Reeve High School. He has previously been the Varsity coach of the FJ Reitz High School and coached JV as well. He has been a club coach for Metro Volleyball club since 2012 and has experience with various age groups from U14 through U17. Coached for the top ranked Barr-Reeve High School volleyball team for 1 year and manager for 4 years with scouting responsibilities.
Nikki Darrett of Evansville, IN joined Metro Volleyball in the spring of 2016. She is also Bosse High School's Varsity coach. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business and Non-Profit Management from Earlham University. She was a member of the women's volleyball, basketball and track teams during her time at Earlham. In addition to her coaching duties, Darrett is a 6th Grade Math and Science teacher.
Katie started with Metro Volleyball Club in 2016. She has also been the varsity head coach at Tecumseh High School for 12 years. She coaches because of her passion for the game and is excited to share that with her players.
Andy first joined Metro Volleyball Club in 2016. He has just finished his 4th year as the head coach for the Scott Elementary 4th and 5th grade team. He is from Evansville, Indiana and has over 20 years of playing experience. Andy began playing Club volleyball at University of Southern Indiana were he split time as an outside and middle hitter. Andy looks forward to being able to share his knowledge and passion for the game with the young players.
Becky started with Metro Volleyball Club in 2016. She has been coaching Scott Elementary School's 6th grade volleyball team since 2012. She has also coached North Junior High 7th grade and volunteers her time both at the JV and Varsity levels at North High School. She has over 30 years of playing experience and loves to share her enthusiasm and passion for the game with her players.
A Junior in Exercise Science, Pre-Physical Therapy major at the University of Evansville, Ally graduated from Mater Dei Catholic High School in Breese, Illinois in 2016. She played club volleyball around the Greater St. Louis area and school volleyball since the age of 10. In high school, she was a referee and coach for an 8th grade team along with playing both club and school volleyball. Ally is finishing her second season of coaching at Princeton Community Middle School. She loves to coach and see the determination and talent each girl brings, and is very excited to work Metro volleyball players to create amazing players.
Andi played at USI and has coached club at a variety of age levels starting in 2004. She was the head coach for 6 seasons at Mt Vernon HS starting in 2006 and currently the head coach for Memorial HS for her 4th season. She has accumulated 5 Sectional titles and two Regional titles in her 10 year HS coaching career. She is passionate about the game and how sports contribute to how to handle real life situations.
Elise is a freshman Athletic Training, Pre-Physical Therapy student at the University of Evansville. She graduated from Memorial High School in 2019 where she played volleyball. She has also played travel volleyball for Metro and in the Evansville area for 8 years. Elise also volunteer coached Good Shepherd’s 5th grade team. She is excited to share her love and passion for the game with her players as a coach.
Jamie combines her passion for volleyball and love for kids in a coaching perspective. She comes to Metro as a former varsity player at Boonville High School who played competitive travel volleyball for multiple years. She continued her love for volleyball at the University of Evansville. After graduating from UE as an elementary major, she was able to continue her love of volleyball as an elementary coach. She wants to share her passion and love with future athletes.
Maddy is the current Head Varsity coach at North Posey High School. Before coaching the Vikings, she coached at Reitz Memorial High School as the JV coach for four years. Maddy has three years of experience coaching club at River City. She is excited to be a part of the Metro family to share her love of the game with her players!
Leanna comes to metro with 13 years of experience coaching 6th and 7th grade teams. She has been an educator in middle school for over 25 years and enjoys teaching and working with her students and players. She is very excited to share her love and knowledge of the game.
Amanda is a senior playing volleyball at the University of Southern Indiana where she is studying Criminal Justice and Psychology. She graduated from Mascoutah High School in Illinois in 2016. She began playing club volleyball for Southwest Illinois at 10 years old, and played there for 8 years. She is excited to share her passion for volleyball and help develop leadership in each of her players.
